Mooradian 1980
Mooradian, Karlen. The Many Worlds of Arshile Gorky. Chicago: Gilgamesh Press, 1980. Monograph.
Excerpts from interviews by Karlen Mooradian with many of Gorky's contemporaries, including Vartoosh Mooradian, Alexander Calder, Malcolm Cowley, Willem de Kooning, Aristodemos Kaldis, Dorothy Miller, Reuben Nakian, Isamu Noguchi, and Mark Rothko, among others.
Chapter five, "Writings by Arshile Gorky," includes letters allegedly written by Arshile Gorky, but for which no originals are known to exist. Accordingly, the writings are no longer attributed to the artist. See Matossian 1998b: "Appendix," pp. 496–98, for a comprehensive, but not exhaustive, list of the now unassigned letters.
