One of the two works that appeared in the exhibition—described in a letter from Audrey McMahon (1898–1981), director of the New York region of the Works Progress Administration's Federal Art Project (WPA/FAP; 1935–43), as "a small print of [Gorky's] photo mural project"—has not been conclusively identified as any of the artworks within the current installment of the catalogue raisonné.
